Beautiful bronze-brown shade for the lid.
#Mac eyeshadow palette reviews skin
Both these eyeshadow shades go well with Indian wear and suit Indian skin tones. Another great shade from MAC is Expensive Pink which is a gorgeous shimmery rose gold shade which looks stunning on the eyes. It is one of the perfect gold eye shadows for bridal makeup too as it gives a metallic sheen to the lids without looking over the top. A perfect bronze-gold shade for the base or on its own in a soft brown Smokey eye. For girls who love neutral makeup, this is a must have eyeshadow shade in the palette. If i have to summarize this woodwinked review in a sentence, this shade is a perfect bronze shade which doesn’t seem too much on the eyes. The staying power of the mac eyeshadow is amazing as it stays on my lids for a good 6-7 hours without fading or creasing. It is a great base colour when you want to create different eye shadow combinations. Just pair it up with a soft pink lipstick and i am all set for office. I also use woodwinked to create a soft brown Smokey eye when i want a natural look. This smooth and buttery finish makes the application of this mac eye shadow very easy and it blends like a dream. The texture of woodwinked by mac is very satiny and velvety with fine shimmer as the name suggests. 2-3 layers need to be applied for the woodwinked colour to show properly. The pigmentation of the mac eyeshadow is not something that will amaze you and this is one of the least pigmented eye shadows i have from MAC cosmetics. It is a muted eyeshadow colour so even if you put many layers, it won’t look gaudy or too much. On some skin tones, mac woodwinked shows a tinge of orange and looks a bit coppery. The woodwinked shade is a medium warm golden brown colour and looks almost bronze on the eyes.
